New Delhi, Aug 5: The Reserve Bank of India’s balanced monetary policy approach is expected to provide further support to economic growth, improve investor confidence, and encourage fresh investments, according to the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI).
The industry body said India’s economy remains on a strong footing, supported by robust domestic demand, improving business activity, infrastructure expansion, and steady growth across key sectors.
The RBI has projected India’s real GDP growth at 6.7 per cent for FY27, reflecting continued confidence in the resilience of the Indian economy despite global uncertainties. The growth outlook is expected to be supported by strong consumption, manufacturing expansion, services sector performance, and investment activity.
PHDCCI said a stable policy environment will help businesses plan expansion, increase capital spending, and create more employment opportunities. Improved investor sentiment could further accelerate private sector participation and support long-term economic development.
The industry body highlighted that India’s growth story is being driven by rising domestic demand, government infrastructure initiatives, digital transformation, and increasing competitiveness in global markets.
Experts believe that maintaining a balance between controlling inflation and supporting growth will remain important as the economy navigates challenges such as global market volatility, commodity price movements, and geopolitical uncertainties.
With economic fundamentals remaining strong and growth projected at nearly 7 per cent, India is expected to continue its position as one of the fastest-growing major economies, supported by investment, innovation, and policy stability.
PHDCCI said continued reforms and a predictable policy framework will be key to sustaining growth momentum and strengthening India’s position as an attractive destination for global investment.
