Pune, 15th September 2026: Bajaj Auto Ltd., the world’s most valuable two-wheeler and three-wheeler company, has launched a new television commercial for the all-new Pulsar 150, celebrating 25 years of a motorcycle and advertising legacy that helped create the sports motorcycling segment in India. Conceptualized by Ogilvy, the film is the sequel to Pulsar’s iconic launch campaign, one of the firsts in advertising history.
When Pulsar arrived in 2001, it changed the perception of what a motorcycle could represent for Indian riders, bringing performance, attitude and excitement into a category largely defined by everyday mobility. Its distinctive character and advertising created a new aspiration for performance motorcycling and helped establish Pulsar as an icon of the segment.

Twenty-five years later, the same two nurses encounter something familiar beneath a white sheet, triggering a sense of déjà vu that takes them back to their original encounter. The story then unfolds with the reveal of the all-new Pulsar 150.
The sequel retains the energy and tempo of the original while bringing the story into the present.
The Story continues
With over 20 million motorcycles sold across the world, Pulsar has evolved into a global performance motorcycle brand. At its core is the ‘Definitely Daring’ attitude that has defined Pulsar from the beginning and continues to drive its evolution.
Speaking on the launch of the TVC, Sumeet Narang, President, Marketing, Bajaj Auto Ltd., said, “Pulsar has always stood for an attitude that goes beyond the motorcycle itself. Over the years, that attitude has evolved with the riders, the category and the brand, but its essence remains ‘Definitely Daring’. This campaign gives us an opportunity to celebrate that journey in a way that feels relevant today, with the all-new Pulsar 150 representing the next expression of that spirit.”
Sharing his thoughts on the TVC, Sukesh Nayak, Group Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy India, said, “Creating the next chapter of a film that is so deeply remembered presents a very different creative challenge. The audience already knows the setup, so the opportunity was to use that familiarity to build anticipation and then surprise them with where the film goes. The visual cues and rhythm create that instant recognition, while the new turn in the story keeps it firmly rooted in the present.”
