Moga, Feb 01: Punjab & Sind Bank marked a significant milestone today with the inauguration of its Moga Zonal Office, officiated by Shri Swarup Kumar Saha, Managing Director & CEO, in the presence of Shri Rajendra Kumar Raigar, General Manager, and Shri Chaman Lal Shienhmar, Field General Manager, Chandigarh.
The inauguration reinforces the Bank’s commitment to strengthening regional operations and expanding customer outreach. On this occasion, the Bank also launched MSME SHIKHAR – Mega MSME Credit Campaign, with active participation from all zones under FGMO Chandigarh, highlighting the Bank’s focus on MSME growth and credit expansion.
Adding a social awareness dimension to the event, a Nukkad Natak performed by university students sensitised the audience on cyber fraud and digital safety, reflecting the Bank’s ongoing efforts to promote customer awareness and secure digital practices.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Swarup Kumar Saha shared the Bank’s Q3 financial performance, highlighting strong and consistent growth:
- Overall business growth: 11%
- Advances growth: 15%
- Deposits growth: 9%
- Gross NPA: 2.60%
- Healthy capital adequacy, reflecting improved asset quality and financial resilience
