This year, MKT at The Chanakya presents an iconic moment in its journey with its first-ever New Year’s Eve celebration, an evening created to offer guests a refined yet vibrant scene to welcome 2026. Known for its global culinary approach and contemporary elegance, MKT now extends its signature experience into an exclusive night of celebration, crafted with precision, intention, and festive charm.
For the first time since its inception, MKT will undergo a specially curated décor changeover designed exclusively for 31st December, 2025. The space will take on a festive, modern aesthetic, complete with immersive décor elements and a dedicated photo booth that allows guests to capture the night’s most memorable moments. This reimagined ambience sets the foundation for an evening that enriches the traditional New Year’s Eve gathering.
The festivities are complemented with a live DJ set by Aparajita Singh, also known as Secular Chai, whose upbeat selections will shape the mood through the night. MKT will additionally unveil a vibrant dance floor, another first for the venue, inviting guests to celebrate in full rhythm as excitement builds towards the midnight countdown.
Culinary excellence remains the star of the celebration. Guests will have access to both MKT’s regular à la carte menu and its festive seasonal menu, available from 22nd December to 1st January. Curated especially for the holiday period, the festive menu brings together a refined selection of vegetarian and vegan creations such as Maple Roasted Butternut Squash Soup, Champagne Risotto, Mezze Platter, MKT Vegetable and Enoki Burger, Thai Pomelo, and Mapo Tofu.
Complementing these are delectable non-vegetarian specialities, including Pressed Lamb Shoulder, Cognac-Infused Prawn Bisque, Red Snapper Polli Chathu, and the timeless Baked Alaska, offering a grand finale to the festive spread.
Guests may choose to relish a relaxed sit-down dinner or alternate between dining and dancing, ensuring a celebration tailored to every preference.
The New Year’s Eve experience at MKT will run from 8:30 PM to 1:00 AM, offering four and a half hours of alluring celebration. Entry is based on a fully redeemable cover charge, with an exclusive early-bird rate of INR 3,500 for singles and INR 6,000 for couples available only for the first 30 guests. Thereafter, owing to limited availability, the cover charge will increase. Walk-in entry will also be available on the night, subject to capacity.
Pre-bookings open on 10th December, and early reservations are strongly encouraged due to limited availability and high demand for this one-night-only event. The New Year’s Eve celebration at MKT is designed exclusively for adults, and children will not be permitted.
