2025 has been a landmark year for India’s dry fruits and healthy snacking category. Consumers are increasingly choosing clean-label, functional and better-for-you products, which has led to a clear shift in how food brands think about innovation. Nutrition, ingredient transparency and conscious eating are now central to purchase decisions. As we move into 2026, the category is poised for strong growth, led by functional nutrition, transparent sourcing, and the fast expansion of D2C and quick commerce platforms. At ProV Foods, our focus for 2026 remains firmly on innovation, building products that match changing snacking habits, everyday nutrition needs, and convenience. The launch of our flavoured makhana range this year reflects this direction, as we expand into lighter, modern snacking formats beyond traditional dry fruits. Looking ahead, we see makhana becoming a high-potential, everyday snacking segment with ample scope for growth through new flavours, formats, and use occasions.
