LPL Financial Global Capability Center Opens in Hyderabad; Appoints Ramesh Kaza as EVP, Head of Country

Hyderabad, India Feb 04:  LPL Financial, a leading wealth management firm, today announced the opening of the LPL Financial Global Capability Center in Hyderabad and the appointment of Ramesh Kaza as head of the new operation.

As LPL Financial expands its technology and operations capabilities, Hyderabad was selected for its deep talent pool in financial services, strong infrastructure and business continuity advantages. Over the next three to five years, LPL expects to create hundreds of roles in Hyderabad to support technology, operations, product development, data and analytics and risk management.

The LPL Financial Global Capability Center is currently seeking talented individuals to join the team that include skilled engineers and technologists across network security, core infrastructure, AI engineering, data platforms, middleware and software development.

As executive vice president, head of country, Kaza joins the LPL Financial Global Capability Center from State Street, where he was most recently chief information officer for India. Prior to State Street, Kaza spent nearly 16 years at Bank of America overseeing major governance and tech operations, including global delivery head, enterprise chief information officer and global delivery infrastructure head. Earlier in his career, he held strategic technology positions with Fidelity Investments and GE Capital.

In addition to his professional experience, Kaza is an active community leader. He served as a chairperson for United Way of Hyderabad and contributed his time significantly during COVID. He was appointed secretary general of the Society for Cyberabad Security Council in 2023, where he works with Cyberabad Police and industry leaders on enhancing safety and security across the Cyberabad jurisdiction.
