JD Institute of Fashion Technology meets MYTH AI to Transform Fashion Design Education

Mumbai, Mar 16th: JD Institute of Fashion Technology, one of India’s leading design education institutions, has partnered with MYTH AI, a fashion AI software platform based in Turkey, to introduce advanced artificial intelligence tools for textile design and clothing solutions across its 40+ campuses in India.

The collaboration aims to bring AI-powered design technology into the institute’s academic ecosystem, enabling both students and faculty to explore fashion and textile design in faster, more efficient, and more innovative ways.

Through MYTH AI, students will gain access to digital textile libraries for pattern creation and tools that allow them to visualise garments across different styles and creative concepts. The platform will enable students to experiment with multiple design ideas, accelerate the ideation process, and refine their creative outputs while working within classrooms and design studios.

The initiative will also support faculty members in demonstrating design concepts more effectively and introducing students to emerging technologies that are increasingly shaping the global fashion industry.

Speaking about the collaboration, Rinesh Dalal, Director at JD Institute of Fashion Technology, said: “Our core value at JD Institute has always been to maintain a balance between innovative thinking and enduring design traditions. Although the fashion industry is firmly anchored in craftsmanship, cultural expression, and heritage, technology is also driving the industry’s rapid evolution. By collaborating with MYTH AI and implementing this platform across all our campuses, we aim to enable our faculty and students to experiment more creatively, explore ideas more quickly, and improve their design skills while maintaining a connection to the timeless principles of design.”

The introduction of MYTH AI marks another step in JD Institute’s commitment to integrating emerging technologies into design education and preparing students for the future of the fashion industry.
