Amity University Uttar Pradesh (AUUP), Noida campus, hosted Senior Officials from Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), including Mr. Tarun Agrawal, Senior Executive Director and Head of Engineering and Mr. Nishant Sarna, Senior General Manager (Future Regulations and R&D), to explore collaboration in emerging technologies, sustainable mobility, manufacturing innovation, advanced materials, energy solutions and future-ready research initiatives.

The Welcome Address was delivered by Dr. Chanderdeep Tandon, Additional Pro Vice Chancellor, AUUP, followed by a presentation on the “Amity University R&D Ecosystem,” highlighting the University‘s multidisciplinary research ecosystem, Centres of Excellence, innovation infrastructure, and industry-driven research capabilities. On this occasion, Amity Scientists showcased their work in strategic areas through presentations on various topics such as “Critical Minerals for Future Mobility” by Dr. Sunita Rattan, Dean Faculty of Science & Technology, “Robotics Manufacturing and Sustainable Automotive Technologies” by Dr Basant Singh Sikarwar, Professor, Amity School of Engineering & Technology, “Battery Technologies and Electric Vehicle Battery Research” by Dr. Saikat Dutta, Amity Institute of Click Chemistry Research & Studies, and “Ethanol and Sustainable Biofuel Technologies” by Dr. Archana Tiwari, Professor, Amity Institute of Biotechnology.
