
H.R. College of Commerce & Economics Yuva Tourism Club successfully hosted SAFAR Hindustan Ka 2, a vibrant inter and intra-college tourism festival, on February 8-9, 2026. The event brought together students from across Mumbai and neighboring regions to celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage and tourism potential under the theme “Sone Ki Chidiya Se Tak?”. Supported by Indiatourism Mumbai, the festival featured theme-based competitions, tourism quizzes, research presentations, and interactive activities, showcasing India’s regional diversity through performances, music, and art. Students also showcased their entrepreneurial skills through curated stall spaces, promoting a lively ecosystem of ideas and cultural exchange. “SAFAR Hindustan Ka 2 reflects the power of youth in preserving India’s heritage while shaping its future,” said Dr. Pooja Ramchandani, Principal of H.R. College. “It is an event where students get an opportunity to present different states’ dances, costumes, and regional best things. Tourism is not just an industry – it’s a bridge that connects culture, economy, and national identity. Where Students get to know about their Indian states.”Mr. Faaiz S.
