Hyderabad, May 2025: The Telangana Chef’s Association (TCA) proudly concludes the TCA Culinary League 2.0, a prestigious state-level competition that brought together budding chefs from across Telangana to celebrate innovation, regional cuisine, and culinary artistry.
A total of five unique competitions were conducted at four different locations across the state:
Warangal – Global College: Millet Mania
Nizamabad – Infinity College: Telangana Food Challenge
Karimnagar – KIMS College: Biryani vs Pulao
Hyderabad – IIHMCA: The Art of Plate
Hyderabad – Regency College: Neo Telangana
The top two finalists from each event advanced to the Grand Finale held The renowned Institute of Hotel Management, Hyderabad (IHM-Hyderabad), a central government institute under the Ministry of Tourism.
In the finale, participants competed in a 1 hour 30-minute “Rice Cooking Challenge,” where they were required to craft an original dish using mystery ingredients and equipment provided on the spot — testing their creativity, adaptability, and culinary skills.
